Zen and Contentment

In past relationships I have struggled to communicate the ideal of contentment to my partner. My happiness with “the way things are” has often been interpreted instead as a lack of motivation or a lack of goals. This unfortunately demonstrates a lack of understanding endemic in my relationships, intimate, platonic and in the work force.
