Got an announcement this afternoon that the HL2 mod Dystopia is finally on Steam. They’ve been developing it for a few years now, and I played it for a good year at one point in beta, though I never got tired of it, I probably started a new game and just never went back. I’ll give it a test over the weekend to see how it looks. As the name suggests, it is set in a Dystopian setting and if you have ever wished Neuromancer would get turned into a first person shooter, this will fulfill. And it’s pleasantly similiar to some of the fiction I do in my spare time.

In other news, my co blogger and fellow guildsfolk have been playing Left4Dead on PC. As you may know, my bitterness towards the XBox version was such that I just wasn’t going to buy it twice. But I have been given it as a gift from said guildsfolk, so I will likely give both Left4Dead and Dystopia some quality time this weekend and may post a summary next week.
