I should probably be appalled at this, but this site is amazing. They are translating the entire Bible into lolspeak. I figured I’d check to see if the verse (Philippians 3:7-8) I have tattooed on my arm has been translated yet, and it has!
Iz thunk it mattererded, but Jebus wuz all liek “Nope, kthkbye”. Nuttin [...]

Fair Weather Laissez-faire

I just felt like making a post to say that I have absolutely no idea what the proper response to the economic crisis is. My personal ideology is pushing me away from a bailout, but the supposed reality is pushing me towards it. Perhaps I’m just the victim of successful media scaremongering. In which case, [...]
Gaming as citizen-building

Interesting article here about the correlation between (civic) gaming and civic and political life. This is certainly true of myself. Though it wasn’t so much of Civilization or Sim City that got me interested in the process fo government, but actually old school Koei games like Gemfire, Liberty or Death, and Romance of the Three [...]

A very interesting and potentially helpful feature!
However…

Word is an OS X version is on the way.
Having recently done some work that resulted in the conclusion that Google’s cloud computing model was simply untenable for [...]
PAX – Day Three

Short but sweet, started the day off with a “panel” discussion with uber-nerd Wil Wheaton, who seems to have taken on the real life role of his character from Stand By Me. Been a big fan of Wil’s for a while, but this was the first time I had a chance to see him speak. [...]
